Our key objectives are:

1. To promote, facilitate and review the delivery in NW England of:

2. To publish and review the North West Biodiversity Audit, "Wild About the North West"

3. To provide advice to regional planning and development agencies and decision-makers in relation to biodiversity priorities, targets, indicators, and on policies and practical action.

4. To promote biodiversity as a key constituent of sustainable development together with the contribution it makes to the economic future of the North West and the Quality of Life for people.

5. To promote and facilitate partnership working for biodiversity delivery.

6. To act as a focus for biodiversity expertise in the region, and to develop links to the National Biodiversity Network and to local biodiversity information networks.

7. To actively seek resources to enable us to carry out these tasks effectively and efficiently.
